Xu Jin-Fu is a Professor and a Chief physician at Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital, Tongji University School of Medicine, Shanghai, China. He is the chief of the department. In 1998, he graduated from Tongji Medical University (Wuhan) and got his Medical Degree. In 2007, he got his PhD from Shanghai Medical College, Fudan University after six years’ study. From Jan 2010 to 2011, he worked as a Postdoctoral at the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School in Boston.
Dr. Xu is the committee member and secretory of Shanghai Respiratory Society. He also works as deputy chairman member of the young committee of Chinese Association of Chest Physician. His clinical work and researches include the respiratory diseases such as COPD, bronchiectasis and lung infections.
He published over 80 articles in journals, including AJRCCM, European Respiratory Journal, Chest, Annals of ATS, Journal of Pathology, Clinical Microbiology and Infection, Scientific Reports, Stem Cells, PNAS, JEM, etc. He authored or was editor of 12 books or editions.
