Jo Douglass

Head of Department, Clinical Immunology and Allergy, Royal Melbourne Hospital, VIC

Jo Douglass is a specialist physician who is currently Head of the Department of Clinical Immunology and Allergy at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, an Honorary Clinical Professor at the University of Melbourne and Research Associate at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute.   She trained in medicine at Monash University, and undertook physician training in Respiratory Medicine and Allergy and holds an MD in Immunology.  She is a past President of the Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy and a Fellow of the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand.  She has current research interests in severe asthma, immune deficiencies and allergic disease.
