Dr Greg Fox is a Respiratory Physician at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, and a Senior Lecturer in Respiratory Medicine at Sydney University. He lived in Vietnam for four years while undertaking his PhD, during which time he helped to establish a multi-centre randomized controlled trial of contact investigation for tuberculosis. Dr Fox completed a post-doctoral Fellowship at McGill University in Canada. He continues to collaborate closely with the Vietnam National Tuberculosis Program to undertake multi centre studies relevant to international tuberculosis control policies. His research focuses upon prevention of drug-resistant tuberculosis and chronic lung disease in resource-limited settings.
